What Is FiveBuckx.com? Is FiveBuckx.com a Scam or Legit?

Scam Witness Investigates Online Scams

What Is Fivebuckx.com and How You ‘Could’ Become a Millionaire!

Fivebuckx.com is being promoted on Facebook as a way to get high ROI for little investment. I will answer fully What Is Fivebuckx.com, is Fivebuckx real and legit or just another ponzi/pyramid scam where the few will benefit and the rest left wondering where the site has gone to! Since it is also a Cash Gifting Scheme, which is illegal as well, we can see this website is breaking the law 3 fold over, hence, is another SCAM to avoid.

I will detail investment level, work and rewards, the pitfalls and the inevitable end to such an online scam for the majority of their participants. I will also detail ‘SIGNS‘ that tell me they are a real and dangerous scam.

You can gamble with Five Buckx if you want to, however if you don’t want to gamble but find a real and sustainable way to earn money online legally, then you may wish to read my review into Wealthy Affiliate >HERE<. Alternatively, you can sign up >HERE< to have a look around and ask some questions.

What Is Fivebuckx.com with Pay-In and Work Details.

Before I answer questions like what is Fivebuckx.com, I always try to find out who the owners are, and proceed. In terms of online credentials they do have an address, which maybe real or not, with an expiration date set in August 2018. However, no contact details and no founder name which are bad signs and indicative of an online deceptive site.

Fivebuckx.com is a business model that is completely dependent on getting new members into their illegal business venture. With every wave of new members then new money is given spread to those older members who already donated/invested/cash gifted other members. Now where is the member going to come from to pay the last lot of investors? The pattern just repeats itself.

Snippet from Fivebuckx.com online scam

I will layout the Investment Levels and their Compensation Plan below:-

  1. Upon signing up you have six hours to pay your up line. Your up line is simply your referrer, but since it is the ‘SYSTEM‘ that assigns you to such a person, we will just call them your up line. The system will now match four people to you whom pay you NGN (Nigerian Naira) 500 -what you have to pay ($1.39). Very low buy-in.
  2. Level 2 requires you to pay your up line NGN1500 ($4.16) whereupon you will receive the same amount from 16 other people who are matched to you. That is NGN24,000 EQUATING to$66.48. Not exactly high stakes poker here, but still, many will lose initial investments anyways. I will explain soon why.

That is all the levels they have. Once you complete Level 2 by cashing out, if you are allowed to that is, you can start over in the hopes of repeating your success.

I do believe it is deliberately made to be so affordable so to entice huge numbers of people to rip off!

Let us now get into the Pitfalls of this venture below.

Pitfalls of this Online Misadventure.

I have already alluded to the fact such a venture requires new money to keep on going. So, when they can not find anymore new members, obviously – like all ponzi/pyramid/cash gifting schemes, they will collapse! What does this mean for new and older members as well?

For the ones signed up, well, you have no chance of a return. That money you just paid, is now going to the older members, with the majority of the cut, going to the Founder(s). However, there is also a ‘catch’ for older members as well! The longer the site is around, the broader the downward scale of their pyramid matrix becomes, the less likely many to older sign ups will receive anything.

Payments at these levels become ‘spotty’ at best to prove to the masses they are still operating and paying. This, I believe is only to give them down to shut down current site, and time, to start up a new one. This is the reason, right up to the bitter end of such a scheme, why some members will come to sites like mine and say it is still operating – and I am talking ‘rubbish’.

CAUTION:- It is a widely known fact, for people who expose online scams like myself, to know the founder of such schemes will set up a fantastical amount FAKE MEMBER ACCOUNTS!!! These fake accounts will masquerade as real people to receive donations from people like yourself. Thus, all along we now see, most of the money was going to the top levels and founder!! I am not saying Five Buckx was doing this, I have no way of knowing that for certain, but it is common practice.

I will now TEAR APART their ‘invitational’ propaganda on their site per their words below.

Signs of an Online Scam

Sign 1 of a Scam:- They speak in a manner is over concerned about the financial plight of the people. No professional site behaves in such a manipulating manner. I have ‘dubbed’ SCAMMERSPEAK – #scammerspeak on twitter to make it go viral and expose such people.

Sign 2 of a Scam:- Grammatical nightmares strewn all over their site.

Sign 3 of a Scam:- No Live Chat.

Sign 4 of a Scam:- No contact details.

Sign 5 of a Scam:- Exaggerations of the truth! They say they can make you a millionaire in their fancy image slideshow. However, we already seen what they say you can earn, thus, that is not getting anywhere close to millions. The site would already be gone before you even saw any signs of getting that close.

Sign 6 of a Scam:- PONZI/PYRAMID/CASH GIFTING SCHEME! That is 3 signs, but, I will count it as one.

Sign 7 of a Scam:- Image of a person hold hand full of money! Classic sign of scam enticement.

Sign 8 of a Scam:- Fake email on their site!

Sign 9 of a Scam:- Your account is deleted if you do not pay up upon arrival.

Sign 10 of a Scam:- You account is deleted if you do not upgrade to Level 2 within six hours of paying Level 1. 12 hours to pay up in total. Total Scam!!!

Sign 11 of a Scam:- Fake testimonials.

Sign 12 of a Scam:- Zero payment proofs.

Sign 13 of a Scam:- Zero earnings disclaimer.

Sign 14 of a Scam:- No Privacy Policy Page.

Sign 15 of a Scam:- No Terms and Conditions.

Sign 16 of a Scam:- People in the pictures are not a part of their online operation and sourced from Internet archived images.

Have I missed anything out? Please let me know in the comment box below – Thank You 🙂 .

RECAP:- You will not get RICH despite their claims you will. Overtones of fake sincerity and concern for others financial successes = #scammerspeak. Abundant scam signs on their site. Missing vital sections of their site e.g. TOS. Dependent on new members to pay older sign ups – their Achilles heel. Will collapse without forewarning leaving most without ROI despite sincere investors!

I will now deliver my rating, for which, I believe these guys have worked very hard to achieve.

Scales of Justice

SCAM RATING:- 0/100%! NO TRUST FOR THESE GUYS!

Well, I can see you are abundantly articulate, and that is a great skill to have for running your own website.

      Hi ADENIJI,

Thank you very much for reaching out and helping to warn others. In truth, an article is nothing without participants to discuss the legitimacy of sites online. FiveBuckx is set to shut down on the 09/09/2018 – let us see if this happens. I have little doubt the owners may indeed try to start another, if they haven’t already.

      Here is what I recommend.

Contact your bank and see if you can get your money back. I do believe, though please don’t accept this as legal or financial expert help and advice, if your bank see’s you are a victim of fraud you may be due reimbursement.

However, perhaps FiveBuckx is running an illegal money operation? In this event, I don’t know if authorities would be questioning you for being apart of it. Of course, if you did not know this, then perhaps you have a legitimate case.

You say Diamond Bank? This is a name of a Bank you know of? If so, head there and hand his details and tell them what happened.

I want to say thank you as well for that lovely blessing and I am grateful to receive it. Thanks again and I hope to hear back from you.

But also, there are ways to earn online that don’t require this kind of operation. It is simply doing what I am doing – running your own website, anyone can do it. Let me know anyways here if you are interested, or you may email me. The email is at the bottom right hand side of this website and I check it daily to respond to people.

Thanks again and do keep me and others informed if you are able to get your money back. Thanks again.

      Hi Abraham,

Thanks Abraha for your lovely compliment – ~ really appreciate your comment.

I checked out OneBogoz and they are set to close down in the next two months anyways. They look like a Ponzi Scheme and you should definitely not invest with them. The likelihood of earning with them is very slim now as they tend not to pay out the older their website gets, per their business model. This is normal scam behavior for the type of racket they are running.

I will email you Abraham to advise further per your request.

If your email is not with Gmail and contact your email provider and alert them to this situation fast. They maybe able to help should you have been hacked. This is easier if you have an alternate email account already set up with them or a number to send a code to.

      Hi Israel,

What was your payment method? Was it PayPal by any chances? Several reports of no payments are been reported to Scam Witness regarding FiveBuckx.com.

It is clear FiveBuckx is running a Ponzi Scheme. Since we don’t know the owners there is little chance that they will confirm you.

      Here is my advice:-

Find their Facebook Page!! Find their member review section! NOW – TELL EVERYONE WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO YOU AND INCLUDING THE LADIES NAME! Shame Admin into Paying you! I have seen this work before with other scam sites.

Tell them in your review on the FB page you are going to report them to the Better Business Bureau, RippOff Report as well. These are the two biggest sites online regarding online scams. That should scare the heck ofut of them.

Let me know if this works Israel and I am sorry this has happened to you.

      Philip.

It is of course legit, but the risks, well it is like anything to do with these kinds of things. You really do need to know what you are doing – of which personally, I would not.

I read somewhere once you need at least half a mill with these things to make any real money. Then I read of a case of a man in China, shop owner, who was able to buy a Merc from his earnings doing these kinds of things.

If I was going to do something like this, I’d go Stock Markets. Why? I would hunt for the newest upstart that is looking for oil somewhere in the world. I’d certainly invest a couple of hundred or thousands in them.

Should they hit oil it is possible then your shares will fly up in value and possibly become an over night millionaire.

However, should they exceed their expenditure and not hit oil = you lose all your money.

      Hope this helps.

      Regards,

      Philip.

      Hi Tluv,

Is there any chance you could send me the images of all your communications espcially the one where he insults you and tells you f off please? I would like to include that in this article as evidence (damning evidence) that FiveBuckx.com is nothing more than a scam. There are a good few reports of no refunds or making anymore money from FiveBuckx and would like to include your experience as such.

Regards, Philip. We can connect on Facebook and you can send me images via PM if you got the time. I really want to expose your experience so others may learn. Then perhaps, you can share the link with these guys to pressurise them into paying you. Tell them that this post that scamwitness has done on Five Buckx is getting 1000+ a week and that number is steadily climbing. They should really have their say and make good on what they say their site is about and, of course, a huge apology to yourself Tluv. Lets work together and see if we can shame them into paying back your money.

      Regards,

      Philip.

      Hi David,

Yes, there are a few in the Goog Jobs section menu button above. Please do not go near any of the PTC sites, even if I wrote they were ‘legit’ as I have to recategoize all PTC sites as scams.

Certainly take a look at Amway, Herbalife and one’s like that. They do require investment but you can bulk discounted to sell on to friends and family.

My #1 offer is Wealthy Affiliate that can teach you how to make a full income online from between six months to a year. So, yes, it’s a long term goal and I am afraid I have not found a way to make a good living apart from WA online.

You could make your own website and review Amway, or herlife products, when traffic picks up then you can sell to the nearly 4 Billion Active Internet Users Online at any given moment in time = no more hounding family and friends or strangers for sales. You may SIGN UP HERE to get 25 Free Websites and 20 Free Training Videos that shows you how it is done.

Beware, this is a Free Life Time Membership. How Paid Options will allow you to make a Full Time Income Online Quicker!

Let me know if you have any questions David.

        Hi Ifeoma,

I deleted your number because there are too many that would harvest that data for illegal purposes. I checked out your site. Is it like Amway? Sign up, buy products that you are stuck with to try and sell on for a profit?

If so, please be careful. Many affiliates of such programs get stuck with a ton of products they can not sell and ultimately make a huge loss.

The best way to sell your products Ifeoma is to have your own website and place your affiliate links there. I can show you how – even with a free site you can still promote your products.

        Regards,

        Philip.

I just registered and paid to d account detail given to me. After the payment, I called for the person to approve my payment and she told me to upload the proof , I asked where to upload and she hung up on me. I’ve been calling her for more than 30mins now, she’s no longer picking her calls…
So “five bucks” is a scam or what???

      Hi Omoniyi O,

If they are not confirming your payment, and the lady just hung up and now won’t answer, what does that tell you? I have never been a member of FiveBuckx.com and so decided to wait for many complaints, if any, before delivering my rating.

Thus far, there have been six complaints surrounding money, one around support giving a member a the run around, and NOW from you a report that another member is not confirming/verifying you.

DO keep us up to date regarding your situation should they confirm you as the lady maybe just had to go somewhere. I doubt it though. I can’t see why another member won’t confirm, and surrounds me with suspicion, you may have paid to one of the Founders. I say this because its no skin off of anyone’s noses just to say “YES, I VERIFY/CONFIRM YOUR PAYMENT TO ME!”.

Looking forward to hearing from you again 🙂 .

      Regards,

      Philip.

It is with a heavy heart I must inform you Quadri that certain countries (about 25 in total) are banned from the Free Premium Version of Wealthy Affiliate. Please understand that was in effect before I joined and the reason given is Wealthy Affiliate had awful trouble with scammers and spammers from Countries such as Nigeria and elsewhere.

      Hi B.B. Emmanuel,

Thank you very much for taking the time for stopping by and dropping a comment regarding Fivebuckx 🙂 .
So, I just checked the comments for this article and, out of the 16 comments (not including yours and mine) – here is where FiveBuckx stands in terms of reported treatment of members and their payments:-

Six members complaints of Fivebuckx reported no pay! One member has complained of being given the run around via email communication from support. Finally, your report has stated you got a full refund.

I am relieved they gave you your money back and I only hope they continue to improve their service, for what it is.

Yes, robbing Peter to pay Paul haha! 🙂 . I grew up hearing that expression in Ireland and is only really said by the older generation that I have noticed.

A pleasure to hear from you B.B. Emmanuel and hope to hear back from you soon. Should you know anyone else involved in this scheme then you are more than welcome to point them here. Much appreciated.

      Regards,

      Philip.

I was abot to sign up but decidd to check online. I must say scamwitness is doing a great job. #500 bucks may be little but the feeling of being duped is very bad. It makes you feel used and stupid. There is nothing wrong with online business only that people can’t be trusted again.

    Once again, thanks scamwitness.

      Hi Joan,

Sorry to hear you paid but I have been scammed online as well and all I did was smile and walk away. I certainly learned the hard way before venturing into affiliate marketing myself.

So, if you check out our Good Online Jobs section then you can see some OK jobs. However, our #1 Recommendation is Wealthy Affiliate. Should you need an in depth answer in to What Is Wealthy Affiliate then you can click >HERE for a full review. Alternatively sign up >HERE (no credit card to do so) for 20 free training videos and 25 free websites.

OK, I know that is a lot of info already. Point being, Wealthy Affiliate can teach anyone how to make a full time income online owning a website just like mine. Beauty of it is you can make it on something you have a real passion and interest in. Let me know if we can help you further Joan 🙂 .

I do not work for FiveBuckz.com and I can not tell you what is going on with your email from them. I simply wrote about them to expose that they are indeed not real.

I imagine it is more than intentional you were sent a blank email from FiveBuckx and if I were you would not continue to waste my time with them. I do offer a real way to earn online if you are interested?

      Hi Blessing Thomas,

It could be you sent your money to the owner of the sites account who may be keeping it.

It could be it takes time for the system to find new members to pair you.

It could also be, which is what I spoke about in this article, that they are a scam site and will not pay most of their members.

Since no knows the owner of the site then there is no way to get your cash back.

Be patient and see if it materializes and some may still be getting paid.

Sorry to hear the news though, I hope it works out.
