What Is VogTrend.com – Fake Online Purchase Store? Must Read.

This very short article is going to answer a number of questions such as What Is VogTrend.com, Is VogTrend com fake, dishonest, crooked, scam, bad or is VogTrend good, safe, legit, trusted, genuine, real? What Is VogTrend.com – How to Know for Sure.

Right now you know my own opinion on What Is VogTrend.com. Now you can see how this conclusion has been reached. It may sound obvious once pointed out but we are going to be starting with the founder of the site. Where info on the creator of a site that is dealing with some form of transactions for financial gain then we must become a little suspicious. There are of course other signs, combined, will leave you no doubt not to shop with them.

www.vogtrend.com was created 2018/11/04 with just one year online. Real businesses will give themselves a lot longer than that especially if you are dealing with real world manufacturing of their products inc delivery etc. So, already, that makes little sense. Anyways, the founder name is hidden online and that is very very very bad news indeed! Now you have no clue who you are giving your money to for their advertised products.

VogTrend.com Site

don’t buy from www.vogtrend.com!

Alarmingly as well, if you Google their address as supplied on their site which is VogTrend, 199 E Flagler St, #1710, Miami Florida, 33131, United States you will see that address appears to be taken by InspireLife.com! Another bad sign. It is not uncommon at all for scam sites to rip off someone else’s address to appear legit. However, InspireUplift appears to have some complaints as well and I am wondering if there is a connection. That is for another article.

Where we see no identity linked to a site then its time to run away from them. Legit sites will speak at some length on their owners and so it makes no sense, other than they are not legit, not to be open about the creator of their site.

Briefly, they are selling curlers at knock down prices that simply are too cheap for them to make any profits from. Below are irrefutable scam signs that should never be on any site that is claiming to be a real business

Even More That Is Wrong With Their Online Shopping Store.

Too cheap! Some items have been reduced by $150 for a set of curlers. How can they make a profit when then they are only selling such items for $30 or $40? That is a dead give-away for a fake online shopping store! Moreover their items look to be of a fantastic quality and so you would normally expect to pay a reasonable price.

Their Returns Address, as listed above, is returning in Google Search Engine for another website. That is another sign that at the very least something is wrong here. Personally, it tells me we could be dealing with a scammer that has multiple scam sites. Not uncommon for sure.

Should you be lucky to get any items from their site then its common you won’t get the one advertised. Most usually you will receive an item that would be of a far-far less quality then what is being advertised for.

Such sites are usually shipping from China, even though they supply an address for the USA or UK etc, and only becomes evident when their support is telling their customers why delivery is taking so long. They normally keep up this pretense for as long as 10 weeks.

Mcaffee Secured? That is an image and actually links to nowhere. I see this all the time with fake sites. What is meant too occur when you click on such images is then you re-redirected to such sites that will tell you that it is a verified site. Not so in this case, nothing happens.

Facebook and Instagram Icons are linking to their pages alright. Problem is, those pages are promoting entirely other site called OmgTrue.co! Yet again another inconsistency we are dealing with a deceptive site, and another site potentially, that needs exposing.

Their Contact Page asks for your personal details and to me screams of a phishing form. Scam sites love to collect your personal information so to sell them onto other scammers. This is a very lucrative way for them to earn big and easy money. Now you must watch your emails for fraudulent attempts. Simply report and delete such mails.

Please Report VogTrend Below If They Scammed You – Thank You.

Final Thoughts.

Prices too cheap. Returns address is for another website. Not Mcaffee Secured as they pretend. Social share icons link to pages promoting an entirely different site – makes no sense. Site a bit shoddy and another sign of a fake site. Their site is new and so it may take some time before you see complaints about them online. This is why its of PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE that I ask you to please report them below to help shut them down sooner. The quicker their site becomes exposed for what they are the less money the scammers will earn.

I ordered a package from this Vogtrend as well back in November and I have not received my order! I am very upset due to the fact that I am now realizing it is a scam and they took my money and I’m never getting my product!! I’ve been trying to contact them but they never respond or get back to me!! If I’m not getting the product I ordered(I ordered one of the Thyme curling hair straighteners that everyone is seeing every where. They were selling it for a really good price $45 instead of almost $200. So I bought it). I really want my money back!!

      Hi Angelica,

Simply look up for reviews to see if a company is good or not. However, if they are new then perhaps give them a miss until you know more about their online reputation. Also, if a company has too bad reviews online then you know then that they can’t be trusted. Thank you kindly for helping to warn others about VogTrend – it is appreciated.

Don’t forget to apply for your own refund from your payment provider also.

I was scammed as well 🙁 I read the reviews on their FB ad but saw no negative comments, so I thought it was safe to purchase from them. Turns out that was a big mistake. I sent them an email 3 weeks after I purchased my order (which was confirmed with a tracking number) to let them know that I hadn’t received my hair straightener yet. They replied the next day saying that they will look into it and that they were sorry for any inconvenience. It is now January 2nd (I ordered the product on November 18th), and have just come across your article on the scam. Can I still contact PayPal if their site/business has been shut down? I would like to get my money back.

    Thanks!

You can open a claim with paypal. I was also scammed and it did take some time to hear back. People who previously opened claims with paypal before the site was shut down didn’t seem to get their refund bc the scammers were still at it and providing fake tracking numbers etc. Since I filed a claim after they were shutdown, I just got my response from paypal siding in my favor bc they cannot reach the seller. So I will be getting my regund but they say it can take an additional 30 days. Good luck.

OMG! After reading this I think I am now a victim by this seller. I’ve purchased 2 curling irons from this site. I make sure I am doing business with USA only. It states Miami FL so purchased the iron on 11/18/18 and I never received the items. After I disputed with PayPal I discovered the seller was from China so definitely I am being scammed. I’ve emailed them twice before I disputed with PayPal on 12/11/18. Paypal just closed my case to go aside because the tracking which was manually entered on 12/14/18 to a post office 40 miles from address. I called that post office and they said there is not much they can do but to contact the seller to validate verify the address. After reading serval messages I believe I am being scam with a bogus shipment info that can’t be validated. I contacted Paypal to reopen my case to have them check on the address they sent too. My address is Paypal verifies never been changed. This frustrate me and I am glad I am not alone and we need to put this to a stop this company from scamming others in the future.

Hi, I ordered a flat iron on November 18, 2018. I paid thru pay pal. I never received a confirmation from vogtrend. I waited and gave them time and finally contacted PayPal. They did an investigation and said the company sent a track number. PayPal said the sided with vogtrend. Anyways I’m thinking I’ve been ripped off. !!

      Hi Susan,

Are you able to send PayPal proof of your payment of what you ordered that clearly has not arrived yet. That tracking number is probably fake, if you can prove its fake, then show that to PayPal. PayPal have made a number of horrendous decisions when siding with scam sites. They cant be a whole lot good at their jobs if they don’t know what a scam site even looks like.

Omg! I am on the same boat as you! I also purchased the item on 11/18/18. I emailed them twice with no response. I disputed with PayPal which they just closed my case and said they are asided with the seller because the items was delivered. I checked the tracking number it was sent to Yakima, WA but my address is Lynnwood, WA how did they screwed up on that when my address is on Paypal. I even contacted Yakima PO who advised not much they can do since they did their part and delivered to the address that the seller sent and suggested I contacted the seller which I know I will never get a response because they never replied to my previous inquiry. So I contacted Paypal and requested them open my case and contact the seller to verify why the address they are sending to is different from the address on my Paypal. Wish me good luck!

They scammed me as well. i ordered a straightening/curling iron and they never sent the item. I originally placed the order on Nov 18. i paid for faster shipping as well.

I ended up contacting paypal for a refund. Then VogTrend attached a tracking number to the account. Only problem is, they said it was delivered to a city across the state from my address and the tracking number was created 6 days before i even placed my order.

I havent heard from paypal yet but my bank already refunded the money.
