What Is Kortee.com – Is ‘Kortee’ Scam or Legit Online Store? – REVIEW

Kortee.com – Trustworthy OR a Sham?

Did you hear that Kortee.com are selling real aligator belts for just $85 where as other places can start off at nearly $300?! What is going on here? Is www.kortee.com trying to defraud / scam people? Are they making a huge loss to offer these belts so cheap because they are legit and honest? My suspicions have been raised and now it is time to investigate.

Those with customer reviews are invited to help protect the online community by leaving what you know in the comments below. The more information we collectively share the better we can come to a real and concise conclusion about such sites.

question

Kortee.com Reviewed.

  • Let us begin now, setting aside the perhaps far-too-good-to-be-true prices at Kortee.com, and see if we an find legit back information such as address, contact data, owner name etc. Fake sites love to hide behind proxy addresses, therefore hiding their real location, and typically fail to declare founder name. In this instance you are running a heavy risk of being scammed because you have no idea whom you are doing business with.
  • Registration for ‘Kortee’ was in 2019/03/30 and that domain has been registered for only 1 year. Why go into business for little time as this? We understand there are honest e-store creators out there that register for so little to see if it is worth the effort. But really, given how cheap it is to register a domain, I do not understand why they do not just register for longer.
  • Why? Because 1 or 2 years is a pattern set by past websites that proved to be scammers and so it is an indication of a hit-and-run site. Founder name in WHOIS was not given. ‘Registration Private’ is all we see for that. Yet, the type of site it is will be trusted with peoples personal banking information.
  • To me, this makes no sense that people can go into business without showing evidence of who they are. Lets see if we can locate their business now.
  • Their address in WHOIS is a proxy of 14455 N Hayden Road Scottsdale Arizona and clearly, as delineated by the word ‘proxy’, is not their address. I must of have seen this address 100’s of times by now being used by other sites trying to convince us they are from the USA.
Website business address is:-

FLAT/RM 1101 11/F
SAN TOI BLDG
139 CONNAUGHT RD CENTRAL
HONG KONG.

  • Why is there a conflict of addresses? This is never a good sign and leads us to further suspect they could be a scam site. Their email address is viabarryhome@gmail.com incidentally. Where we see more than one address for an online business is a solid indicator your goods perhaps are coming from outside your region.
  • In their ‘ABOUT US’ section, UNDER ‘COMMITMENTS’, we have copied and pasted that paragraph into Google. We see other websites using the same wording in the same section of their own e-business. How is it feasible that several other companies can have word-for-word verbiage in identical sections of their own sites?
  • sultansville.com is using that same paragraph exactly and so that is not legit. We see the same ‘OUR COMMITMENTS’ paragraph within the same section of their site at mazort.com. All bad signs for sure.
  • No where do I see them make reference to owning these other sites and this is the kind of behavior I see with fraudulent sites. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.

Final Thoughts.

I fear they are only trying to entice you to part with your hard earned cash. You may Google those belts elsewhere online and they go as high as nearly $300 to start. So, how they are able to offer identical quality products for just $85 is a bad sign. I surmise they are hoping you do not know the actual financial cost of such belts and so you will think it is reasonable.

Have you purchased from this website?

Your customer reviews will straighten all of this out one way or another i.e. scam or legit. I fear ‘scam’. However, since mistakes can happen, we will say NOT RECOMMENDED for now and hope to be proven wrong on my suspicions.

That is all on What Is Kortee.com and look forward to your reviews below.

I was scammed as well by this kortee and pamelasal@sina.com I never received my money or the product and I have have 3 children. I can’t afford to throw money down the drain. And PayPal helped them scam and take money out of my account. I am very disappointed that PayPal allowed this to happen to me and so many others.

Thanks Robin for your report here. I feel strongly that one day PayPal is going to get a civil lawsuit for all the times they unfairly side with scammers. Who monitors PayPal’s decisions regarding MONEY that IS NOT THEIR OWN!

Their own staff clearly do not know what an online scam looks like and its costing good hard working people their cash. I will never use them ever again as I have read too many reports of them being too clumsy with their end verdicts.

Thanks Robin for your comment and I am very sorry to read this.

Should’ve definitely questioned the site a bit more before placing my order. I immediately emailed kortee asking to cancel my order after seeing the email address my money was going to because it just screamed “SCAM” to me. They didn’t reply even though I sent multiple emails and instead they gave me a tracking number. Like everyone else that ordered from the site, my “package” was delivered to the wrong address. I currently have an ongoing case with paypal, and as mentioned by someone before, the seller did not try to argue the case so I am currently waiting for paypal to review and refund the amount.
    For reference:
    order placed on: may 21
    order delivered on: june 3
    paypal case opened: june 4

Would really just advise anyone to stay as far away from this site. Hopefully people stumble across this page first and know not to spend a single dollar on kortee!

I placed an order on May 20th said payment was going through paypal but I used my credit card to pay for it. it was to Pamelasal@sina.com Order says it was delivered to Fontana CA. I live in Buffalo NY. I actually just wrote to Kortee to see what they have to say. Funny thing is I ordered a children”s flip out couch and when I just went on Kortee’s website, they don’t even have any products like that. Wish I would have went on their site first.

Add me to the list of people who got scammed by this “company.” Same thing — ordered an item, it was shipped from China, but was delivered today to an address in SC. I live in VA. I will try to recoup through PayPal. Thank God mine was a small purchase, under $50.

It’s Susan the Bose System lady. The USPS said the system was shipped to another address, in a city north of us. At least Kortee kept it in the same state! The USPS department we spoke with is taking it up with a higher department and should hear back by next Tuesday. Not good. Time to try to recoup $$. No more “good deals” for me folks!

Interesting to see they actually made the effort to provide a tracking number. During the 21 days it took to be refunded via Paypal, I didn’t receive a single message from Kortee. They didn’t even bother trying to fight the case with Paypal, as Paypal received no response from them during the dispute. That made no sense to me.

In your instance, what they did actually makes a little more sense. Paypal likes sellers to provide tracking #’s as evidence the item was sent, and validates that the tracking #’s are actual tracking #’s, from a real shipping company. They don’t check the destination address for the tracking # though, so using any random person’s tracking # that they can get their hands on will initially work. There’s a multitude of ways for them to do that, not very difficult.

The reason for them provided an irrelevant tracking number, based on my understanding of Paypal, is that it probably buys them some time before Paypal’s dispute process is able to refund your money. As Kortee.com constantly creates new Paypal accounts to fraudulently accept payments with, they probably withdraw the money before Paypal catches on, and rely on proxies and such to hide their tracks, so Paypal can’t identify where the money is going. By the time any of us receive refunds, that money is long gone, and Paypal is probably stuck footing the bill to refund us. That’s the most logical and plausible explanation I can think of.

It’s happened to me I was looking for an outdoor toy for my 3 year old grand son’s birthday. A ride on roller coaster brand name step 2, significantly priced lower than other websites. I was provided a tracking number from all places China, at that point I knew I’d been had, a letter sized package was indeed delivered today to San Fernando, California. My shipping address Ohio. RUN from this website.

I’m pretty certain I also got scammed from this website. I was searching for a slatwall display tower for my biz and I found one at a really good price from kortee…I did think it was a little strange that a belt store was selling slatwall towers, but i thought maybe they sell them for use with their belts, so i went ahead with my order. Today I got an email notification that my item was delivered to an address in Pa. (I’m in NY) upon checking with USPS it said “small packet” which a slatwall tower is clearly not…and still not sure how or why it ended up in Pa, but i contacted paypal and opened a dispute. waiting to hear back.

Similar experience to others here. I purchased an inflatable water slide for $69+5 shipping. No confirmation from the site. Only a notice from paypal funds were withdrawn and then that a shipping label had been printed. I had contacted the seller via contact us form and paypal email multiple times without response so I called USPS and asked them to look up the tracking number. I live in IL and this was going over 350 miles away to Cincinnati, OH. The items is listed as a ‘small parcel’ even though the slide weighs more than 80 pounds. I have a case open with paypal to recoup the payment I made to this fraudster.

For anyone interested the package is being delivered to
4216 Romaine Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45209
which looks to be a doctors office??

    The Paypal ID is:
    Seller’s name: 艳丽 张
    Seller’s email: HuangWenlonguu@hotmail.com
Which is different than another commenter

I think it’s clear we’ve come to the conclusion this is scam, but does anyone have any thoughts as to how they make money??

If I sent them $74 and I open a PayPal case, PayPal pulls their money back right once it’s verified as a fraud?

They are clearly mailing SOMETHING, is that just to delay the dispute process so they can cash out before paypal tries to get money back?

What are they mailing? and are the people at the delivery addresses in on it? Curious that my delivery address is for a doctors office.

Just curious how this works. Since having this experience I have seen a half dozen other similar sites in googles shopping bar all advertising items for $69.

It is definitely a scam. Like others, I thought it was too good to be true but gave it a try, using PayPal as an extra layer of protection. I did receive tracking information on the item through PayPal though because I never received any kind of confirmation email from the company and my account was never updated like it said it would. It went from NJ to CT in the 3 days, no more updates for 5 days, one day past the expected delivery date, and then it moved around CT some more before being delivered to an address in Bridgeport, CT. On the advice of my post master here in SC, I called the post master in Bridgeport who was able to connect me with the center that does the sorting of the mail before distributing it to the carriers who deliver it. That man was able to get me in contact with the carrier who delivered it. My name was no where on the package and in fact it wasn’t even a package, it was an envelope weighing less than 10ozs. Seeing as how it was an inflatable waterslide for my daughter’s birthday, it definitely couldn’t be it. I’ve emailed the company multiple times and have never received a response.

Yes it’s a scam. Stupidly purchased an Alpine Type R 12″ Sub for $69+5 shipping, figured Paypal would protect the purchase in case it was a scam. Two weeks later, my money is still in China, Paypal estimates the case won’t be completed until a month from now. 5/17: Paid $74.97 via Paypal
            5/17: Pre-emptively opened Paypal case
            5/25: Escalated case to claim

Kortee is definitely a platform for a scam. They keep the larceny amounts under $100.00 so that it will remain a misdemeanor offense, which the FBI and most local law enforcement will not investigate. The philosophy is that it is safer to rip off 1000 victims for $80 each than to risk felony charges by ripping off one victim for $100 or more.

    It is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!

Don’t do it! I ordered something for my kids, not a very expensive product to begin with. I never received an email confirmation for my order. I did receive one from Pay Pal that my payment processed and then a second that my order shipped. I followed the tracking number and the product was “delivered” to Oregon yesterday, but I live in Michigan. I don’t even know the zip codes for Oregon so I did not have it shipped there.

Also, I reached out several times through the website, through email, and through Pay Pal all of which said they would respond within 24 hours…I never heard anything. Also, it should have been a red flag when it would not let me order more than $80 of products.

I am not reaching out to Pay Pal and after that my credit card company. This my warning….DO NOT DO IT!!!!

I actually Just purchased a Phiestina wine cooler fridge From Kortee earlier today for $70. It’s listed for just under $700 everywhere else. I also got a $65 mini fridge from Zodbuy.com (listed at $329 everywhere else) that’s eerily similar to Kortee. I thought i was just getting a good deal, but it seems pretty suspect now.

The strangest part is that a wide range of items seem to come up in the google search shopping tab, but you can’t access anything through the website. i do have some faith in Paypal that if stuff gets fishy, ill get my money back. but i’m curious to see if anything actually ships or shows up.

I have reported kortee.com and kmkai.com to Paypal as fraudulent sites to help stave off needless refund requests from people who are buying from those sites.
With that being said, if the deals are legitimate and the items are coming from China, then one wouldn’t know about legitimacy unless they afforded the typical 30-45 day shipping duration it usually takes to get items from China. After all, they generally ship items by way of shipping containers aboard ships that have to cross the ocean and then, of course, have to sit at the port of arrival until customs inspections and inventory are completed.
I seriously doubt the deals offered at either of the sites above are legitimate. It is likely the product does not exist/is unavailable or is a knock-off of the original, as many sites like ebay and Amazon are plagued with.
I appreciate ScamWitness for providing the platform they do for consumers to research the legitimacy of sites before tendering their hard earned cash to these scammers. Kudos to you!

Thank you Melissa for your comment about Kortee.com. Yes, $69 seems to be applied to many items, items where you would expect the prices to be much higher in price. Well spotted and nice work on finding us. Thanks again Melissa.

This is the Bose System lady, again. I rec’d an email this morning from PayPal stating Kortee advised them that the Bose has been shipped (no date provided), through USPS, and that they had paid Kortee. If I had any questions about tracking, etc., to send email to the address I showed in my first comment here. PayPal guaranteed nothing, but just passed on the info they rec’d from Kortee. I tried to go to Kortee’s website to see if my account went from “pending status” to “shipped” and the site is gone! At least I couldn’t locate it.

I just saw General tires for trucks, SUVs etc. Price was about half compared to other sites. Seems TGTBT. Not taking a chance. When I did a search for tires it showed zero results. Very fishy.

Sorry to interrupt this conversation. How can they afford to swipe off hundreds from the price compared to elsewhere?

Ordered and item from Kortee.com that is hundreds less than it usually sells for. I should have known it was too good to be true. I filed a claim with Paypal. They are giving the seller 10 business days to respond and if they don’t my money will be refunded.

Kortee.com popped up offering Samsung 55″ smart tv for $69.00. Tried findig customer reviews on their site. There were none. I Googled Kortee.com reviews and found your site. I see in previous comments on your site that someone else was going to try apurchase. I’ll keep checking back to see how it went.

I purchased a Bose Wave System on Wednesday for the price of (yes, you guessed it), $69.99. Kortee took me to merchant detail, fuzhixianguu@hotmail.com. Didn’t receive a confirmation email from them, but they gladly deducted from our checking account. Status of order: Pending! Yes, and through PayPal. Am I kicking myself? You bet.

          Hello Tracy,

If there is no doubt in your mind that you were scammed then simply contact your payment provider. So think which form of payment you used. Your card? PayPal? Other form if payment? So contact that payment method and tell them what has occurred. They will investigate and will tell you their decision on a refund or not.

Just to avoid any confusion, I have not purchased from this site, and so this article was only a warning about MegaDeals.Ltd. However, if everyone in this forum gets their products, then I am wrong. This is good news for me as then they are proven legit.

See reviews to know for sure as real customer reviews simply do not lie. Thanks for your question Tracy and if any more then do not hesitate to ask.

Was curious to see how this goes, so paid for something using PayPal (who will refund me if it goes tits up, so very little risk). Bought something that’s usually almost a thousand dollars, was listed for $69. The email on the PayPal receipt was CaiYitinguu@hotmail.com – very legit for a business…

I’ll update here if anything does arrive, but I suspect this is a definite scam.

      Hello Ed,

Thank you very much for reporting Biklen.com to us. This is our Biklen.com Review and is no doubt a copy and pasted site just like Kortee.com. The images, the prices, wording, all the same. Even if there are errors like typos then we can expect to see that as well. The email address is the same. Their business address seems to link to an area of residential properties.

So when we see peoples homes coming up for businesses that is another clue something is definitely wrong. Biklen.com was created 2019 March and so your report has given every one a chance to know the truth about that site. This is the value and power of genuine customer reviews.

‘Biklen’ has no founder name and nothing that allows us whom we are dealing with. This has the unfortunate aspect of not knowing who people maybe giving over their banking information to.

Those that have given payment information to any of these sites are probably going to have to contact their payment providers. Your financial institution will advise you best on the course of action needing to be taken.

Thanks again Ed for reporting Biklen.com to us. It is appreciated.

Saw this, couldn’t believe my eyes. That’s a $400.00 to $500.00 item. Really, it’s almost worth it to try it, wait for a month and if it’s not delivered, file with my credit card company. I doubt I will, but it’s kinda crazy to see this.

I searched for an item that is pretty pricey. Namely Padma basic. Their site came up with an astonishing price of 19.95. To be sure I did a search on their site for the same item. It didn’t come up so I decided to try to find out if this was legitimate and found you. So I think that this is a scam. Hope this helps.
