What Is GeemaLand – Is GeemaLand Scam or Legit? 100% SCAM ALERT!!

By | December 2, 2018

What Is GeemaLand And Should You Buy From GeemaLand.com.

You probably found those guys on Facebook? What Is GeemaLand (www.geemaland.com) about? Is GeemaLand crooked, scam, dishonest, bad or Is Geema Land good, safe, legit, genuine, real, honest and good? This www.GeemaLand.com Review is going to let you in on their dirty little secrets of how they are conning people from their scam network. This ‘Geema’ site is not the first out there, and they seem to be connected using Shopify pages, and many are springing up of late. Basically, they are stealing the images of pr-quilting artists and pretending to sell those designs at that quality. The truth is they are too good to be true for the prices on offer.

While that site has no images on their site at the moment, or they have taken them down and ready to run off like cowards, its probable you found them on Facebook like so many of their other sites. Its so important you report them in the comments below to starve of them of their illegal earnings, and also, to help others their money. While I expose online scams I also show others how to earn online. So here is my #1 Recommendation called Wealthy Affiliate. They can help anyone learn how to earn online for life with a free start up offer. Lets continue with this Review of GeemaLand.

What Is GeemaLand Really All About – The Whole Truth.

The other sites that are pretending to sell high quality hand crafted Quilts are HobbiLaunch, EmmaCotton09, FarmZily, Sleepious with others yet to be exposed. Know of a fake shopping site? Why not leave their Exact URL below in the comments to be exposed. Currently working with the websites that own these designs being promoted on these fake sites to alert as many people as possible. Lets start off, in order to show you Geema Land is completely fake, find out about the founder.

The founder registered the site on 2108/10/27. Registration is for 1 year only. Legit and honest businesses will normally want to show case their businesses online for a very long time. 1 year is too short and considered only the beginning of any website. So, that is one sign already we are not dealing with a legit site.

GeemaLand.com Site

don’t buy anything from www.geemaland.com!

The Site Address is a PO BOX 1769, Denver, CO, USA. That is not acceptable to have a PO BOX as your address when you are meant to be an international business. So, that is another clue of deceptive behavior. There is no address on their site or Founder Name! More bad signs.

Actually, the Founder Name must be called ‘Admin’ because that is the only name I see on their site! Its ridiculous scam sites can set up so easy online, without having to verify who exactly they are when it comes to monetary transactions – BUT THAT IS OK – because Facebook, Twitter, You-Tube etc are making a FORTUNE FROM PROMOTING ADS  EVEN IF THEY ARE SCAM ADS!

BOILS MY BLOOD…but it must be ‘A-OK’ though folks, because those scam ads, well you see – they

Don’t Violate Facebook’s Policies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – ‘!’ – .

So please, please, please rest assured everyone – GETTING SCAMMED WHEN YOU USE FACEBOOK IS JUST FINE BY FACEBOOK!!

Anyways, the above info is to make 100% clear to you that no online business, that is real and legit, hides all of that info about their Founder and Location. So, that is enough for me never to buy from such sites where I can’t find this information out.

AND ALSO, NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ANY SOCIAL MEDIA SITE WHERE YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THOSE SITES BEFORE – THIS REALLY NEEDS TO BE A PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT!

OK, that is my rant over for today. I hope I and everyone else hears yours in the comments below 🙂 .

The Scam Uncovered – You Won’t Ever Get What You Ordered!

When you pay your cash for your ‘quilt’ (rag would be more appropriate) then you have to wait about two months. That is a seriously long time but also you may find in this waiting period that your tracking information simply vanishes without explanation.

Money is taken from your account very fast indeed! Do watch out your are not charged many times over, or any recurring monthly charges, and if you noticed then alert your bank etc to that fact and dispute those charges immediately. You have 180 days with PayPal to dispute a charge. You may do so right here – PayPal.

Remember, any high quality quilts they have exposed you to on social media, are NOT their designs and WILL NOT be ANYTHING like what will get for your cash. Please heed those words remarkablly well because it is the truth. You will receive, what online complaints about their other sites as, ‘rags’ – ‘flimsy rags’ and one customer threw his ‘rag’ into the bin. That is how low quality their real items are.

You will receive a product that is far lower in quality then advised. That is the bottom line if anything turns up at all. These fake shopping sites may have a manufacturing facility, where they have the ability to make prints from very cheap cloth, while promoting the professional works of others on their sites.

Nothing turns up at all. Should support just start to not respond to you at all then that is a sign that you probably won’t receive anything for your money.

Final Thoughts.

Do you have any ‘thoughts’ on those sites or on Geema Land? Don’t forget to report them below to make sure they do not get away with it. There is a link below, where you can put in a complaint with Shopify about their sites under the grounds of copyright theft, for those designers who have had or continue to have their designs used in this unsavory manner. The site in question is going in my sites List of Internet Scammers Hall of Shame.

I hope that has quickly answer What Is GeemaLand for you now. Those that may have some questions are welcome to place those questions below where I will happy to hear from you. Looking forward to all of your comments to come.

Same experience as all of my predecessors above. But don’t feel badly – – I’m a well-educated lawyer and yet I still placed an order with Geemaland! However, I was very skeptical and wary of purchasing from a company I found on facebook and had never heard of, so I used my credit card for payment rather than my PayPal account (which does an automatic debit from my checking account). When the blanket I ordered on 11/9/18 had not arrived by the time I received my credit card statement for that month, I called the issuing bank immediately and filed a claim disputing the charge. Having found this webpage and read all the other complaints, I will now call the bank and ask them to finalize the claim and cancel the payment. It’s a shame – – the blanket looked so cute – – and sad to think of all the vulnerable people who didn’t find this webpage and/or didn’t dispute the charge in time!

Thank YOU for doing what you do, alerting the public to such scams! And I think Facebook should be held accountable for not confirming the bona fides of all companies that advertise on Facebook. In addition to the Better Business Bureau, scams like geemaland should also be reported to the appropriate State Attorney General’s office and the Federal Trade Commission (after the government shutdown ends, of course!!)

          Hi Susan,

Thank you very much for your support Susan and I am only happy to help. Certainly more needs to be done to protect people from scam ads on many social media sites, it seems. Too many reports of people complaining about that situation. Thanks again Susan.

I have also ordered 2 quilts from GeemaLand and haven’t received either quilt. One says it has shipped and has been in California for 2 weeks now according to tracking #. I am going to contact PayPal and see if I can get a refund?

I too ordered a Girl Scout quilt on Nov. 30, 2018. I filed a complaint with PayPal after receiving form replies to my inquiries. PayPal has already refunded my mo ey. So glad I decided to pay through PayPal. I was skeptical about putting my financial information out there for an unknown company. I should have listened to my little “skeptical” voice.

I ordered on November 17, 2018 and am still waiting. I got a couple of emails back from them saying logistics were backed up and please be patient. Cannot get any response from them now after about 15 emails sent to customer support! These online companies need to be held accountable somehow!

Your situation sounds just like mine. Paypal sent me an email with a tracking number but just like with everything else—you can’t track it. I won’t believe that anything was sent until I see it in my hands and I don’t think that is going to happen. I just went straight to my bank and disputed the transaction. They refunded me my money and are investigating, so for now I have my moneyI agree that places like this should be held accountable.

Yeah, sorry to bear you the bad news but they are a raging scam site with a huge fake quilt scam network called Amelia Cotton Quilt Company. Love to know if they approve your refund or not Vicki should time permit. Thanks again 🙂 . ~ Scam Witness.

I purchased from Geemaland on Nov. 30th. But I should’ve known something was wrong because the security on my computer (was at work shopping for Christmas lol) wouldn’t allow the page to go through to payment. But it was a gift for my sister so I kept trying and finally got through on my cellphone. Needless to say I reached out to them after a few weeks because my trackin* # was “not found”. I got some bogus email from a Daisy in poor grammatical shape restating the shipping policy. Went back to the website a week ago and kept getting “404” bad gateway error. I immediately googled the company and scam and bingo! Needless to say I’m soo glad it went through PayPal so I can dispute and get my money back.

Just awful how ppl scam folks out of their hard earned money.

      Hi Bri,

I believe GeemaLand is part of a scam network known as the Amelia Cotton Quilt Company. They have shut down or redirected most of their sites to AmeliaQuilt.com who are saying they have stopped taking orders to process old orders over the holidays. All nonsense.

The only ones that I see still alive are Sleepious.com and (a new one) Sleepious.co.

Would like to know if you get that refund or not Bri should time permit. Happy Holidays 🙂 .

      Hi Paula,

Sorry to hear this Paula. Its a hard enough time of year to buy for everyone without having to worry about some scammer stealing your cash. Thank you kindly for reporting on GemmaLand and I am wondering:- have you applied for a refund as of yet?

I have had the same issue as everyone else. Contacted PAYPAL (phone number listed on the transaction) since that is how the charge showed up on my account.. the charge was more than what the ‘receipt’ said, under a different name, and they are now investigating the fraud that Geemaland is generating via Facebook. ‘Geemaland’ finally sent me an email after being contacted by PAYPAL and just copied their bogus shipping policy into the email. I will continue to pursue. PAYPAL will refund if the product is not received and continue to investigate them. Also, they suggest filing a dispute re: the transaction with your bank, credit card company, etc.

      Hi Lynda,

Yes, definitely dispute all charges. Even if you get the order, it is probably nothing like what was advertised, and on those grounds you still qualify for a refund. Of course, that is up to the money experts for your charge backs.

Thank Lynda for the solid advice above and helping to reveal GeemaLand as a scam site. Your Support is deeply appreciated 🙂 .

          Hi Carolyn,

That really is unlucky Carolyn. Please, do not feel foolish. Their scam network has swept through the USA like a whirlwind! It seems most or all their sites are redirecting to Amelia Quilt – and they are not taking anymore orders. They may just let the site run its time and let it expire.

I want to thank you for your report and it is another that is going to help, from what I see online, gather more momentum to find these people.

I would love to hear back from you if possible regarding your refund. Thanks again Carolyn 🙂 .

I placed an order for 2 blankets. I watched the tracking of these items waiting for them to be delivered. they appeared to be on their way. Well the last time I checked the site was no longer valid. Needless to say its a fraud. I have contacted my credit card company with the details.

Its scammers like this that make it harder for the legit companies due to the fact that we don’t know when we will be scammed so just don’t shop online and it won’t happen.

I put in an order for a quilt as a Christmas gift. I received a message in my Facebook Messenger, and a confirmation email. I placed the order December 9th, and by the 12th I was already starting to question Geemaland. I started trying to track my shipment. Each time I did an error page pulled up. Of course now the site is completely down I guess. Which is what brought me to this site informing me of the scam a few days too late. Ughhh….if only I had researched the site ahead of time. I’ve contacted my card company to report the fraud. They’re shutting down my card and issuing me a new one thankfully. These scam artists are stopping to new lows! You know what they say about karma…..I hope these crooks end up in jail!

We purchased Boy Scout Eagle Scout quilts for Christmas for our boys and any checking on these items ended in frustration–poor communication, lack of replies, different time zone, etc. We then did some research and found that GeemaLand is a scam and if any product ever arrives it’s of poor quality. It’s a shame one cannot count on Spotify to filter out bogus sites and protect consumers. At least we are able to put in a stop payment on our credit card and can purchase something else before Christmas. Merry Christmas!

Definitely dispute those charges for a refund – there is a chance you could get it. Thanks for your comment here Derick – your time really is appreciated 🙂 .

Man I wish I would have read this before I placed my order! Looks like I will probably not be getting the Christmas present I ordered for my daughter.
I ordered the item on Nov 17th and the money came out of my bank almost the same day through PayPal. I did receive a confirmation email. I then started to receive emails stating I had left something in my shopping cart. I emailed them and received an email response that everything was good with my order. I have waited and waited for an email regarding shipping so I emailed them again after looking online to track my order and it was not found. I received another email that it just finished processing and would be packaged and shipped. None of the questions I asked were answered. Here it is 12 days before Christmas and who knows if it will be here and if it will look like what I ordered.

I have my fingers crossed for you Nikki, but to be safe, I would put in a refund request with your payment provider. Even if they do send you out a product, it could be so poor in quality, it may not be suitable per its purpose or as a present.

Thank you kindly Nikki for reporting on your experience with GeemaLand so far and would love if you kept us all in the loop regarding your order 🙂 ~ Scam Witness.

I made the mistake of ordering something from Gemmaland.com for my daughter. I was having issues using their site, but thought it was due to the fact that I was using my phone and not a computer Once I got the product up, I was able to quickly order using pay pal. I immediately received receipts from each company. After a couple of weeks with no word on the item being shipped, I started to do some investigating. Although nothing was mentioned at checkout, I found a statement in the FAQ’s that the item can take 1-3 weeks to process and then a couple of weeks for shipping. Even more alarming is that the language was very vague and there were numerous spelling errors. Once I hit the 3 week mark, I sent an email to the company and received an auto response back referring me to the FAQ’s which had more vague language extending the processing time. This company is a scam. Do no use!
