What Is EmmaCotton09.com about – What Is EmaCotton.com – All Questions Answered.

You know now What Is EmmaCotton09.com, that used to be called EmaCotton.com, is that it is a scam site. Simple as. The scam owners have other sites that look very similar and also very unlike each other. There are clues to help us identify the things unique to their network. The other sites, that they own and you should DEFINITELY not buy from, are HobbiLaunch, KenShinArt, Sleepious, FarmZily and still there are more.

EmmaCotton09.com Site

don’t buy from www.emmacotton09.com!

Let us now begin to uncover the exact nature of their site so YOU may see how they are a fake site. Or, you could just read the other reviews above and take that as a typical scam experience by the same network. But, since I just love exposing these guys so much – I hope you carry on reading ๐Ÿ™‚ …

The Founder Name is always absent from any of their site registrations. Any names you see on their sites are not real. Worse still, anything they sell that are Quilts, well those designs, they belong to another website. Nasty and so you must know, those quilts in the images are so expertly crafted and of such a high standard, you should expect to pay over $700 for.

NOT the low prices you see on EmmaCotton 09 or EmaCotton as they say as their logo. By the way, when URL name is different to Site Logo Name – well – that is a scam sign and a warning something maybe wrong here.

Their address is that of a Texaco Petrol Station – not a good sign and of course that petrol station has nothing to do with the site being exposed now. Fake sites will typically pick a UK or USA based, in my experience of research, address to fake that location as their own. This is garner a sense of trust and legitimacy where none is warranted.

The bottom line of all the above is clear evidence of identity cover up. There is actual real address that is their own submitted anywhere online that can be verified as theirs. There is no form of contact except a scam phone number returning searches in Google seemingly linking it to other online scams in the past.

Their site was registered online 2018/11/29 – with only 1 year online. Any serious going concern would normally set up their real business venture for a lot longer. 1 year is not even giving your site a chance to be successful. They are typically getting lots of their traffic, if their other sites are anything to go by, from social media. So do beware of buying anything via social media. Play it safe, buy it from somewhere you know like Amazon etc. 1 year is also indicative of sites that only want to scam you out of you money. Be warned.

How They Are Running And Earning From Their Scam Network.

Only this evening have I come across even more of their scam sites that are stealing the images from a legit site. I will seek the owner of that legit site to come forward and leave that legit sites URL if you really want the real deal product. Below is how you could be scammed out your own hard earned cash – please don’t fall for it, by then again, its up to you if you don’t believe this articles advice. In that instance you are most welcome to continue your research and disregard all said here.

1). You pay and payment is taken ravenously swift! You are told that you may have to wait about 8 weeks. Later on that time maybe extended beyond that time due to made up excuses of weather, or delivery logistics problems etc. All nonsense.ย

2). Your order simply does not arrive to your home after you pay and the time period has passed. Do look out for the signs that this will happen when your tracking order info is gone for good.ย

3). Perhaps you will receive an item, or you have received one, the chances are it is NOT the one you ordered! Maybe its too small? Wrong design? Shabby cloth that is worthless to keep you warm? Let everyone know in the comments, I’d be interested to know ๐Ÿ™‚ .

4). As indicated above, you may receive an item of an inferior quality and not at all like the high quality items on their site. This is the way the fake website ensures they earn and make a decent profit from the buying or manufacturing of their products.

Final Thoughts.

Once, or if, their ‘support’ becomes rude, vague in their responses then prepared to be ignored as the next step. They may, as said, send you out something but I would be surprised if it is your exact order. IF so, then the quality maybe so poor that even at the low price you bought it for it is still not worth that money. In that instance you still have been scammed out your money for a vastly inferior product then what was advertised on their site(s). Know of another one of these scam websites? Would love to hear from you and so please do leave that URL in the comments below. The sooner they are reported, especially when they first begin, the quicker they may have to shut down that site. EmaCotton is going into my sites List of Internet Scams Hall of Shame where they will stay.

Did that answer all of your questions on What Is EmmaCotton09.com – or on EmaCotton, as their site logo displays it? You are welcome to ask in the comments below where I will respond to all comments in good time. All info on other scam sites, as said, is welcome and if proven be so, then will be exposed here. I had fun exposing this fake site and hope this article has helped you. Looking forward to all of your comments to come.

Beware of also ZeloraFit, HomeApShop, NokEast, Amelia-Quilt, SenMok, Auate.com, FairySeaon, LeMaxShop, Choies, VogTrend, OMGTrue, Phoneieiย and LaddyDress as those are faking online shopping stores as well.

My credit crd disputed my charges and contacted the company who said they shipped my quilts and they were delivered. The quilts were ABSOLUTELY not delivered. My sister in law ordered the same day I did and has not received her quilt either. The tracking number they provided goes no where and provides no tracking or delivery information. My cc company is taking back the credit they gave me based on the info they received from the merchant. I am furious.

I also fell for this scam. I ordered 2 quilts, then the next day I received an email with a 25% coupon, and stupid me, I ordered another one. I discovered the scam when I went into my confirmation email to the “visit our site” and it came up with Joyce Quilts, not Emacotton who I ordered from. I immediately filed a dispute with Paypal. Right after filing this dispute, I get an email from Emacotton with a DHL tracking number, and a USPS tracking number that they were shipped. Paypal gave me a refund and closed case one. Then the other case with my 2nd order, they did the same thing, right after filing the claim, I received the shipping information. I kept checking the tracking information, and it now showed that it was being processed coming from China!! Just today, Paypal refunded me for the 2nd order. Shockingly, in the last few days, I have received both orders for the 3 quilts. I have not opened the packages because I’m not sure what to do with them. There is no return address information other than the DHL shipping address in NJ, so I don’t know if “return to sender” would even apply since there is no return address. I don’t want these items and I’m hoping that these crazy people don’t come back and file a dispute with Paypal providing them proof of delivery to me and Paypal reverses the refund. It’s hard to comprehend how twisted this scam is/was with all the different company names, fake addresses, etc.

      Hi Shari,

Well, sorry to say – its a bit more complex than what is written in this article above. Amelia Cotton Quilt Company is the network names for these scams, unofficially speaking. That is a link to that review and shows even more sites to beware of.

However, I did not expose the site you say – that is a dot com for Joyce Quilts? Important to confirm least embarrassing mistakes occur.

Also, keep the package unopened – N.B.! If they take back the cash, then you can open the package, take pictures -be sure you don’t destroy the address and all that identifying info on the packaging, and then send PayPal the items sent to you.

Where you order is completely different to what was ordered then you have a good case to win and win permanently your refund.

Thank you kindly Shari and your comment is very much appreciated ๐Ÿ™‚ ~ Scam Witness.

Hi there, I just wanted to follow up with the Joyce Quilt information. That is the company that I linked to in the email sent to me confirming my first order where it said to “view website”. The information below is part of an article regarding this scam:
The BBB said it received reports on its ScamTracker site since September 2018 from more than 125 frustrated customers, as well as complaints and calls about companies operating under a variety of names. The most recent reports to BBB Scam Tracker include complaints about Gigi Blanket, Campreme, Amelia Cotton Quilt Company, and Sleepious. Additional names reported to BBB by consumers include: Weirdo Stuff, Emacotton.com, Ecrafta.com, Uscrafta, USA Crafta, Umovietee, Kathleen Quilt, EMA Cotton, Cotton Blanket, Ecrafta, ARA Cotton, Joyce Quilt, Ducha, and Elsie Quilt. BBB believes some of these sites may be run by the same people.

It notes Joyce Quilt as one of the company names used.

Thank you for making this information known so it doesn’t keep happening. I know I’ll run a few searches, check BBB, etc. before ordering from any company online.

I was a sucker too but Paypal said if they do not respond in 10 days they will refund me. They did refund me like a month ago and today I got an email from Paypal with a tracking number. Shipper says OTHER. I searched online and I did not find – definitely not usps or ups because tracking# not found! At least I got my money back. I know better and normally search for info on the people before I order but I was in a hurry that day. Never will I do that again. Paypal guarantees your satisfaction so not sure why they would not refund your money. I would call Paypal again.

I ordered 2 quilts on November 23th . After seeing so many negative comments and complaints about Ecrafta/Emacotton I decided to suspend the payment with my credit card company. I received 1 of the quilts today and it looks horrible! Nothing like what they are advertising!!! Itโ€™s no even made of cotton. Polyester poorly printed and very smal for a queen size. Iโ€™m waiting to see if Iโ€™ll receive the second one and then call my credit card to make the payment because Iโ€™m a honest person but really I could just refuse to pay for something that has nothing to do with what I bought!

      Hi Terri,

I don’t blame you for being more wary of Facebook ads. Simply be sure to look up for reviews on sites you don’t know. When shopping sites are young then its pretty hard for anyone to know if its legit or not, but knowing a few scam signs, could save you in the future.

To keep completely safe I recommend doing your online shop from sites you know and trust such as Amazon.

I was scammed. When the quilt was not delivered within a reasonable time I googled them and found the scam reports. I had my credit card company do a chargeback. Yesterday I received the “quilt”. It was a piece of crap. The design was lifted from an image on the internet and printed on the fabric. I packed it in the original bag, wrote “return to sender”, and sent it back.

I fell for it also. Contacted Paypal as soon as the website “disappeared” and opened a claim. A week later their website magically reappears, this time with a US address instead of the Australian one in the original site. I did not pay that particular charge on my Paypal statement yet, as I went through Paypal Credit and have the option of payment installments. Paypal emailed me this morning with a tracking # they were able to dig up from IMEDIA ADVERTISING SERVICE AND TRADING CO., LTD….which is where the payment is listed as going to on my Paypal statement. The only info I could find on this co. is that it’s somewhere in VietNam ( !?) and had a Facebook page, which is now, you guessed it, NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. Now I’ve got to go back to Paypal and try again. I’m beyond pissed…mostly at myself.

I knew in my heart it was too good to be true. Throwing caution to the wind I ordered. Just disputed the charge after reading this. I was lead to believe they weave their own wool for these quilts from their farm in Australia. Of course if you are in the area, you can bring your camper there and camp for free! Sounded very idealic and serene. Don’t buy stuff off the internet unless you know the seller!

I would love to know the url for the makers of the genuine versions of these quilts as I am an artist whose work has been stolen by them & is showing up in the designs!! Along with several other artists that I know. If this other genuine site is really making quilts using our copyright works then they are going to be in a lot of trouble. This is very upsetting to a lot of us artists

      Hi Lisa,

I believe these scammers are ripping off several designs by several different people. So, I don’t believe there is malice involved with those that have claimed their designs are being stolen and used in this manner. I had also no idea how big of a problem this all was until some short time ago. Should you encounter any other site ripping off your designs Lisa then you are welcome to report them here, and I will expose them on page 1 of Google, to help get them shut down sooner.
