Exposed! The Truth On What Is CottonColor.Net Revealed – Report Them Here!!

There is an ever so quiet war online regarding the copyrights of quilt makers designs and scam sites using those designs to sell their own shoddy items! What Is CottonColor.Net (www.cottoncolor.net) about and why you need to read this before you purchase anything from them, is just 1 site, at the heart of this battle. Is CottonColor Net fake, scam, dishonest, bad, or Is CottonColor legit, real, safe, genuine, good and honest? This Cotton Color Review will show you why you can’t trust them. Their other sites to avoid, part of the same network best to my knowledge, is HobbiLaunch, GeemaLand, Sleeious, EmmaCotton09, FarmZily and AmeliaQuilt.com – more to be exposed. Please do report them in the comments to help alert others – Thank You.

These horrible fake sites are using the talent and hard work of Quilt Designers, Timeless Design Threads is one, and marketing that sites images as their own products. Typically, most fake shopping sites hail from China where they may have the means to manufacture. What they make is a cheap prints from cheap cloths. It is going to be absolutely nothing like what they advertise, and so brace yourself for disappointment, if you ordered from the. But not all is lost. You can potentially get a refund. Simply contact your bank, PayPal and put in a dispute.

What Is CottonColor.Net – The Battle Continues.

There has been a relatively steady stream of complaints online of a number of, I suspect affiliated or owned by same person or people, of sites that are ripping off the quilt designs of others. When one of their site scam sites shuts down then they are springing up with new ones. Facebook appears to be their choice to hunt for new victims to defraud. As said, and to be abundantly clear, avoid HobbiLaunch, FarmZily, Sleepious, GeemaLand and EmmaCotton09 at all costs. So, let us now begin with the founder to start the process of showing you that they are indeed very fraudulent.

Cotton Color Net registered on the internet 2018/17/10 and for just 1 year. One year is a short amount of time to be online when you are trying to promote what you are passionate about. So, that is typical of fake sites to set up for 1 or even 2 years and then run off when they have too many complaints online. CottonColor does not have a whole lot right but I am hoping to help change that with this article. So do speak up and speak up loudly to tell everyone if they scammed you.

CottonColor.Net Review

don’t buy anything from www.cottoncolor.net!

PO BOX 1769, DENVER, CO, USA is just bogus for a ‘legit’ ‘business’. What legit business uses a PO BOX as their real world location? NONE! Only scammers do that. So that is a complete fail on that side of things. There is no address on their site either that I could see, least I am being completely blind.

And the all important Founder Name is missing everywhere online. There is never a legit name attached to any of their sites and there is excellent reason for that. Given the combined complaints, and the cash lost to these scammers, the people behind these fake quilt sites would just be arrested and stand trial. So, where you see huge attempts, and professionally hidden identity online, then you must always search reviews on that site – because that is not normal behavior for a real and trusted business.

The Fall Out After Your Purchase.

1). Once you have paid for your item, the item they have advertised at the low-low price they may quote you, then you have to wait a very long time for that item.

2). They will charge you very efficiently first! Make no mistake about that, these people will charge very fast and then mess you around. Watch your account like a hawk to make they do not over charge you. Also, watch out for unauthorized multiple charges. Remember, these people have your name, home address and payment details now so do beware of anything along those lines where not-quite-right is trying to occur.

3). Those finding trying to contact support, to ask where in the world their item is at, may experience some difficulties along these lines. The support will probably just say some excuse to stall for time. Tell you there is a problem with logistics where you have to wait longer. Perhaps they will just ignore and that will be that.

4). Where items do show up you will clearly find it is not the item you ordered – as I have said many times now. You will never get what you ordered. There ALWAYS be a problem with it, namely, its so poorly made it may only be fit for your bin. Or perhaps its the wrong design or size etc.

5). Worst of all, nothing shows up and you are down money for nothing! Don’t listen to anyone on Facebook, selling Quilts, where you can’t talk directly to the Founder of that service. Check, check and check again until you are satisfied you are talking to a real and verifiable quilt offering that service.

6). Since they do not have any items on their actual website, my guess is that they are offering their prices on Facebook, and only serving up that version of their scam site to garner legit

Final Thoughts.

So, they are part of a fake shopping network where they normally ‘specialize’ in quilts or clothing of some kind. They are robbing the talented designers designs and trying to pass them off as their own. This despicable action is now costing people money for shoddy items or no items after payment. Those that have any information on any more of their sites are welcome to let everyone know in the comments as well. Just please leave the exact URL to avoid confusion with any other site.

I hope this article answered for you What Is CottonColor.Net and hope you think twice before ordering from them, as well. Beware also of ZeloraFit, NokEast, Auate.com, SenMok, FairySeason, HomeApShop, LaddyDress, LeMaxShop, OMGTrue, Choies and VogTrend as they are also fake and scam sites! Take care for now and looking forward to all of your comments to come.

Ordered a Pittsburgh Penguins blanket for my husband in OCTOBER! It’s now the middle of February! “Ivy” always had some excuse for the delay. I have threatened legal proceedings, and “she” quit responding to my emails. I also asked for a refund! Nothing. This also happened to me with another FB vendor, “MYPODS” Same crooked b.s.
I didn’t know that my bank could help me???
These people should be ashamed! Karma is ayou know what!!

      Hi Kristen,

Your report was of tremendous use. You referring to ShopMyPods.com when you say ‘MYPODS’? We have exposed them for being a scam right here at What Is ShopMyPods.com.

There are some very serious things wrong with that site. There is no contact information except helpmypods@gmail.com. No founder name or even a phone number for customer support.

Their Trust Seals at check out do not work and they are not approved by the BBB as they are trying to infer.

Prices are too-good-to-be-true and that is nearly always a sign of a scam site for sure.

I am sorry this happened to you Kristen and thank you also for helping to alert others online with your report.

Working with cottoncolor.net has been a complete nightmare! Do not trust these people!! I’m STILL waiting for an order to be resolved for THEIR mistake (they did not put my apartment number on the mailing info and it was returned). And if Ivy Wilson is an actual person, I don’t know how she gets through life. I’ve blocked out time and time again what needs to happen and she tells me what I already know and what I found out on my own, with no help from the company. Just…wow….

      Hi Julie,

They are a scam site. They have given you the runaround by the sound of things just to stall for time. They won’t deliver the item you ordered. Everything they send out to people is substandard and worthless. Seek a refund Julie.

We actually were able to intercept one of the two packages they sent. The quilt was pretty awesome. STILL trying to get a refund for the second. I do have their acknowledgement but I doubt I’m ever going to see the refund.

I ordered a Boston Red Sox quilt on 11/4/18. Their website told me it was sent for delivery 11/15/18. After 2 weeks I emailed and Ivy told me it was on the way. I emailed her over and over. Called her a scam like others did. Wanted my money back. It was a Christmas present. Told her I needed tracking information. Finally 12/17/18 I received tracking information. It took 1 week to finally said it shipped. I received it today. It’s not a quilt or a blanket. The colors are so washed out. Doesn’t look like the picture from Facebook. Can I still get a refund from PayPal? I emailed cotton color and told them their product was not as advertised and I wanted my money back. Just did that today.

      Hi Debra,

Sorry to hear about this Debra, and since the product is far too different from what they advertised, you would indeed be entitled to apply for a refund. That is definitely one of PayPals stipulations for such and I really you are successful in your claim. Thanks for your CottonColor Net scam report Debra and really hope it all turns out well for you 🙂 ~ Scam Witness.

I’ve been back and forth with their “Customer Support” since November 28, 2018 (placed my order on 11/3/18). My last message to them on 1/11/19 was nothing more than a link to this article, to which I received the following reply yesterday . . .

Ivy Wilson (Clothing and Accessories store)

    Jan 13, 18:00 PST

    Hi Susan ——-,

And we are not scam as you may think. Many customers are satisfied with our products. Do not worry!

But keep in mind that we are a make-to-order company, and our factories are located in Singapore and China. Therefore, you have to wait for a bit longer time to have your order. That is the reason why there are some negative reviews about our company.

Please understand purchasing means accepting our policy which is public in our website.

We promise you that your order will come. If it can not, we will give you a full refund immediately.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. Should you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Regards,
    Ivy Wilson

The tracking updated DRAMATICALLY over the past two days, as well. I highly doubt what I receive, if anything, will be worth much. Time will tell . . . estimated delivery date of 1/18/19.

Hello! I too have had the same communication with them. In my last email, I told them it was a disappointment and they are a scam, she too insisted they aren’t a scam but “logistics” falls into play. I ordered on November 16th, and my status still reads the same, Picked up by Carrier and nothing more. I have a friend who ordered off Ebay from China and it got here in a matter of days, so yeah, I doubt we’ll ever see anything and if we do, it won’t be worth the money or the time we’ve spent trying to get answers to our questions.

Buyer beware, they aren’t a good company to deal with! Nothing should take more than two months to be delivered!

I too ordered a quilt for my wife on October 31, 2018, thinking it would be here by Christmas. Here it is January 12, 2019 and nothing. Contacted my bank and was fortunate enough to receive a refund. This bogus company gave me every excuse in the book. “Ivy” replied that their website was down for “maintenance” and things were delayed. There was a problem in the shipping department. And the latest, she actually replied and stated the shipping carrier’s website was down for repair. Can you believe this crap. Stay away everyone and please get it out on Facebook as this is where they are trolling for their latest victims.

It’s a total scam. I too ordered on November 9 and after a month reached out and received a reply saying “product is on its way.” Even received a tracking order but when I didn’t receive it after another 2 weeks, reached out to support with the same reply. So I cancelled the order via my credit card which immediately refunded my money. Interestingly the day I cancelled via my credit card, I got an email from their support service saying “product is on its way.” That was December 17 and today is January 11. Still no product. In the end it was an inconvenience and the only thing I lost was time thankfully.

Arghhhhhhhh well at least i’m not alone lol I ordered a “Playbill ” quilt and a SDSU quilt November 4th and have been getting the same canned responses from the same names you all have been getting. The last email asked for my ” sympathy” in their problem of not being able to produce as many quilts as had been ordered. Umm how about some “sympathy” for those of us that wound up doing some last minute Christmas shopping because our orders were never sent ! lol They said that I would have had to cancel within “10 days of placing the order ” The other thing I realized is they changed my home address for delivery from 6245 to 6645 so it will never get here. They said they cant make corrections to the address lol I also saw their frequent ad’s on Facebook. Everything I’ve tried to tell them to ask for a refund and cancel my order has either been ignored or had a reply with how I need to be ” patient” HUH ? I did submit a claim with Paypal but I wont hear back till Jan 8th from them.. meanwhile I’m out $ 124 This is a club I wish I hadnt joined : )

I purchased the Cotton Color Broadway Playbill Quilt through the Facebook promo in early Nov. They sent a message saying it would take 1-3 weeks to process and 1-3 weeks to ship. Then I contacted them in early Dec. asking if the order had been processed. They replied, stating that they were overwhelmed due to the holidays, but that it would be processed shortly. I waited another week or so with no more follow up, and then I found this site! I contacted paypal immediately, stating that I hadn’t received my shipment, and got a refund right way. I’m glad I found this or I would have still been messing around with these scammers! Thanks!

I ordered a Georgia Tech quilt on Nov 18th for a Christmas present for my son who went there. Started sending weekly emails starting on Dec 8th weekly and just like others got their standard responses. The first one was from Michelle Margaret on Dec 9th (see below). I also received one from Ivy Wilson on Dec 24th saying “the items are still on the way to the destination”, ‘Please give us some time to deliver the item”, ” We don’t blame you for getting upset with us. We can just ask for your understanding. ”

I was trying to be patient like they requested, but reading all these other comments will definitely dispute the charge with Amex today. Thanks everyone for sharing your stories. Hopefully we can put this company out of business for good!

On behalf of Customer Service Support team, we’re deeply sorry for this inconvenience we have caused you.

Due to the peak season, we are also flooded with a large number of unexpected orders this month and all this has led to this delay and belated response.

As for your order, your parcel is put under process for about 1 – 3 weeks. After that, it will get ready for shipment and start to be delivered. Your tracking information will be updated as soon as possible.

We strive to process both domestic and international shipping within 12-20 days.

We mentioned shipping timeframe in here: https://www.cottoncolor.net/services

Please keep in mind that external factors such as logistics and weather may have an impact on delivery time. The shipping date also differs during sales season and special promotion.

The tracking status will be updated by the shipping company and informed to you soon.

We look forward to continuing our relationship with you in the future.

Once again, we do apologize for this distress.

    Sincerely,
    Michelle Margaret

Our products are customized and manufactured under market demand, therefore, we need some time to produce them after the order was placed. We are trying so hard to speed up your order and hope you believe we are not scam at all

Still no quilt or tracking number middle of December, so I went to website and it said it was picked up by carrier on Nov. 14. So I messaged again several times with no response or quilt. For all the readers of this article please be aware that this scam retailer is frequently changing their business/website name to continue misleading buyers. In addition to the names mentioned in this article here is a link to a Better Business Bureau report which lists even more names associated with this fraudulent group. Since Facebook is doing almost nothing to validate that its advertisers are “real” merchants the best practice, for now, is to be very cautious of any vendor advertising on Facebook news feeds, but certainly avoid any ads related to blankets/quilts.

Simply alert your payment provider for a potential full refund. I do know, if you receive an item that is clearly different from the item advertised, then that qualifies you for a full refund. Take a screen shot of your payment receipt, the image of the item you ordered and what turned up. Take pics of all communications including your tracking info – this is important – as your tracking info maybe fake. That would be enough to alert your payment provider that something is wrong.

Thanks Gwen for your CottonColor Net Scam Report 🙂 .

I placed my order for a Playbill Quilt on 10/31/18 after seeing it advertised on Facebook from the [ censored ]. I paid with PayPal, and never heard another word from them. I contacted PayPal and received a refund after a 10 day investigation period.

Evidently I’ve been scammed, too. I ordered a University of Michigan quilt from them for my husband as a Christmas gift. It took a while to get it, but it finally came. It was’t a quilt at all. There’s no batting between the front and back and it’s flat as a pancake. Even worse, the word “STUDENTS” is spelled “STUBENTS.” I contacted them and they want me to send them pictures. I want my money back!!

I placed an order through Facebook with Cottoncolor.net on 10/31. I have not yet received by merchandise (blanket). I paid $67 on my credit card.

I’ve contacted them twice. They have an order tracker that shows it was handed over to the carrier on 11/14. That was over a month ago!!!!! That cannot be possible. This is ridiculous!

I wished I had never done business with them. I trusted them as a Facebook advertiser but believe them to be a scam! I have requested they refund my credit card but doubt this will happen. Facebook needs to BAN this advertiser.

      Hi Lisa,

Facebook won’t do a thing to help in this matter. So long as the advertiser does not break ‘THEIR’policies then they are not doing anything. I agree, they should be doing more than taking money from scam advertisers to allow their own users to be scammed out of money! Its an utter disgrace.

Simply contact your payment provider for a full refund. Take screen shots to prove you were defrauded. PayPal gives 180 days to put in a pay dispute. Hope this helps Lisa.

I made an order the 18th of November 2018 and as of yet haven’t heard a word from them. I’ve e mailed their so called customer support address and explained to them that my order was for my wife’s Christmas present and she has been battling cancer for the last two years and all she wanted was this LSU Quilt. So I ordered it, thinking nothing of it being a scam. I’m contacting PayPal this evening and requesting a refund. Shame on these criminals! I hope they rot in hell!!

James, I’m in the same boat! Ordered a quilt on November 16th, nothing yet. I’ve sent four emails & only one response with a link to track my order. Money came out of my account that same day, very disappointed.

My husband found a University of Alabama quilt he loved and wanted it for the football season. He ordered it on November 3, 2018.his information was taken immediately, including payment, which was American Express. After a few weeks of no contact, he called AX, payment disputed & removed from his bill. No response from Cotton Color except it would be shipped 1-3 weeks. After reading reviews, these people need to be put out of business. Sad….

Ordered quilt 11/6/18 and after text message confirmation of order and order number, no product yet. The order number isn’t found on their site and the “customer service” emails are full of excuses, even saying this site got hacked which is why it’s delayed. They pec said twice they are waiting on the shipping company to give them my tracking info., which is obviously a lie. I’m going to file a dispute with my bank. I was charged the day after order placed. Absolutely this site is a scam!

I too have been scammed. Paid in November. Whenever I check tracking it says 5 days to prepare, then 5 days to package then 5 days to wait for carrier- total BS! I already contacted PayPal asking for refund. I tried to contact Cotton color. Doubt anyone will ever respond. This isn’t fair that companies can take money but send nothingbin return.

      Hi Esther,

I agree! They are getting away with it all the time. Every day! There is hardly a scam site online that is actually caught and help to account for their crimes. Because, these are crimes CottonColor, and their other fake scam sites, are committing.

And this also needs to be said because no one else is saying it – the army of bloggers online exposing online scams is actually putting world gov’s to shame! We do more to save economies millions yearly while these guys just go after seemingly fish to their photo opportunities! They will only do this when such a site has scammed many.

Pressure needs to come to bare on Platforms that allow scam ads, Gov’s for allowing such platforms like Facebook to operate in any country where that platform fails to safe guard their community from scammers, and only THEN will we have some order on the Internet! At this rate, its becoming unusual.

Thank you Esther for your time and your comment – sorry for the delayed response. ~ Scam Witness.

Same story here. Ordered a “Broadway Playbill Quilt” for my daughter from an Facebook ad. Charged my PayPal right away and then no contact. Looked back at my order confirmation to “check order” and lo and behold – got the 404 missing website address message. Emailed their support and got a standard Q&A response. Feel like a CHUMP! I am filing a dispute with PayPal. One final thought – doesn’t Facebook bare some of the blame for these fake sites?

      Hi Joe,

You would think Facebook DOES BARE ‘SOME’ OF THE BLAME, but as long as these scammers advertisements don’t break Facebook Policies – Facebook appears to be doing NOTHING! A BIG FAT NOTHING!! How’s that to the people that earn Facebook Billions?! So, in my opinion – by their omission to take action, and after being alerted to these scammers and STILL allow these scammer advertisements to proliferate across their platform – they should be help accountable to some level.

Thanks Joe, your comment is very much appreciate.

They steal images of custom quilts off the internet and use them to “sell” quilts. They have stolen two off mine.

      Hey Susan,

Which two designs by the way have they stolen from you? I know there is another lady, and another comment on this site, claiming their designs were ripped off as well.

To all three I ask you to leave your product/site links in the comments on the relevant articles to help others find the real designers of these amazing quilts.

Yes, it is common for scammers to download images and then pretend to them as real world goods. However, they take the cash and nothing turns up. I have found another scam network this evening doing the same trick! – but not on these quilts.

I believe there are a few more I have yet to write up but I most certainly will do shortly, hopefully tomorrow, and so that will the known reported ones covered.

Thanks again Susan for your comment and it really is brilliant to hear from you 🙂 ~ Scam Witness.

Scammed by them. The only receipt I received was via PayPal, when I emailed them to ask about my order, I got a canned response saying 1-3 weeks order, 1-3 weeks shipping. It’s been four weeks. I receive advertising emails from them, but nothing else. Cancelling order.
